Based 2o kms inland on the Costa del Sol for 11 years. My children have grown up here enjoying the fantastic mediteranean climate, gastronomy and outdoor activities that this wonderful country has to offer with beautiful scenery,  and many places of interest to visit. With the beach club venues of Marbella and Puerto Banus to the secret waterfalls of Barranco Blanco  roman baths. There is always somewhere special to go! We have lived in Alhaurin El Grande with the stunning backdrop of the Sierra de Mijas and Monda with its’ hilltop castle visited by Julias Ceasar in his day! The whole Guadalhorce valley is steeped in history. With relics and ruins to visit. My two main passions are horses and natural products and here in Andalucia there is an abundance of both. My day job is selling and renting local real estate which I enjoy because I get to meet different people each day and get to show them our wonderful locality and enable them to find them their dream home. There have been many scares in the press recently about buying a home in Spain and we are working together with Lawyers and townhalls to eradicate these issues. It is now a simple process to check on the legalities of a property. I have this blog for anyone to contribute to and for everyone around the world to see how lovely our little area of the globe is and what wonders we have available to us!!
